Amanda found her passion for photography in 1997 when she took her first high school photography class. Since then she has shadowed local freelance photographers. While traveling Amanda brings her digital SLR to photograph interesting and beautiful sites.
Amanda's professional photography experience is with candid family and event photography. Amanda will conduct a candid photo shoot in a setting where there is a lot to do. If photographing children Amanda suggests a park, toy room, or a familiar area where the child can be engaged. Amanda is gifted at capturing families in natural environments with minimal posing.
